Workstation

The hardware that earns permanent desk space.

  1. MacBook Air 13"

    M1 Base 2020, 16GB Memory, 256GB SSD

This MacBook is one of the best investments I've ever made. I bought the space gray version, and it's been more than enough to meet my coding requirements.

  2. MacBook Pro 13"

    Intel i5, 2015, 8GB Memory, 128GB SSD

My trusty old machine, now a home desktop that mostly runs YouTube, holds extra storage, and occasionally pretends to be a very strange NAS.

  3. Raspberry Pi 5

Full Kit, 16GB Memory, 64GB SD

I got this Pi with a friend for our Final Year Thesis. It now runs my home server and taught me far more about automation and self-hosting than my thesis ever asked for.

  4. Xiaomi Redmi A27Q

    27 Inch, QHD 2K

Probably my favourite purchase ever, the size, the colors, everything is perfect.

  5. Logitech Pebble Mouse

    White

This was a gift from my lovely girlfriend, so it's one of my most prized possessions. I love the minimal, sleek design, and how lightweight it is (do not scream at me about ergonomics).

  6. Fenda F&D F580X

    2 Tweeters, 1 Sub Woofer

I like speakers on the bassy side, and this one comes with a separate Sub Woofer. It's held up well, for over 7 years now.

  7. Royal Kludge RK71

    RGB Backlight, Brown Switches

Also a gift from my beautiful girlfriend! It's my first mechanical keyboard, and I've been loving it a lot. I'm yet to customize the full thing.

Accessories

Small things that make long hours much nicer.

  1. Generic Desk Lamp

    Brand: genuinely no idea

I have no idea what brand this is. It was cheap, it lights the desk, and it's never given me a reason to ask more questions.

  2. Kaloc Monitor Arm

My favorite gift ever (also from my amazing girlfriend). This single arm has changed my entire setup.

  3. AirPods Pro (Knockoff)

    Suspiciously cheap

I live in South Asia; these were suspiciously cheap, and I promise they sound just as good. I've stopped listening to music like before, but these come with ANC too, can you believe it?.

  4. Transcend M3

    1TB HDD

My primary storage for Media, Backups, and everything else. It's held up for over 5 years!

  5. Hoco W35 Max

    I made the stickers myself.

I mostly use these for listening to Podcasts or watching stuff on Youtube, as they're not really heavy on the Bass.

  6. Scented Candle

    Miniso (Vanilla Spice)

Sometimes when I really need to wind down, nothing beats getting on a call with my girlfriend, getting each other food, lighting up these candles, and binge watching stuff together.

Figures

Desk company. All gifts, all non-negotiable.

  1. Kuromi Plushie

My girlfriend won this for me at a claw machine game!

  2. Roronoa Zoro

I got this action figure as a gift from all my friends on my 24th.

  3. Portgas D. Ace

First action figure I ever got, a gift from my girlfriend too!

Applications

Usually open before I'm properly awake.

  1. Arc

    Daily Browser

My daily driver, coding browser, all in one. Arc's UX is simply unbeatable. Pity they moved on to Dia, but I'll be sticking to this browser till Zen catches up.

  2. Codex

    AI Agent

I don't just use it for coding, it's my go-to for everything. I've been using it since it launched, and it's been unreal how far it's come; and how good it is.

  3. Cursor

    Code Editor

I barely open a traditional editor anymore, but when I do, it is still Cursor. I don't pay for it though, since I barely use it's AI features (Codex ftw). I haven't opened VSCode in a long time.

  4. iTerm2

    Terminal

Classic, easy, smooth. I tried Ghostty, but ran into a lot of issues when SSH-ing into other machines, so I haven't been tempted to switch.

  5. Raycast

    Spotlight Alternative

This is a must-have. The only software missing on Macs by default.

Subscriptions

A short list. I host the rest myself.

  1. ChatGPT

    Plus, $20/Month

The AI toolset I use every day, with Codex now doing most of my coding. My older sister handles the bill, so my personal pricing remains extremely competitive.

  2. Railway

    Hobby, $5/Month

My default place for full-stack apps when I want them online without making deployment another project. My older sister pays for this one too; at this point she is quietly running the infrastructure department.

  3. YouTube

    Premium, ~$2/Month

Changed my life bro 😭. Since YouTube is the only thing I watch, this felt like an insane value for money.

  4. Netflix

    Standard, $7.99/Month

Somehow still billing me while the home server sits there doing the same job with more confidence. I should cancel this, but I'm too lazy.

  5. Everything else is self-hosted.

    Free baby

I Self-Host all my media and use Open Source tools. I like the freedom it gives me. (Jellyfin, -Arr, Uptime Kuma, and more. I might make a full list someday.)
